Privacy

Your account stays yours.

This notice explains the small amount of information HookLib needs to run a creator library and Miner.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, HookLib receives the account identifier, name and email needed to create a session and connect your saved references and Miner requests to you. We also store the references you save and the search terms you send to Miner.

How we use it

We use this information to operate your account, show your saved work, process Miner requests and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising profiles.

Video, audio and third-party sources

HookLib catalogs public references from external platforms. Playback and source material may be served by those platforms and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Your uploaded edit footage is processed in your browser for the current editing session unless a feature clearly says otherwise.

Sessions and retention

Sign-in uses secure, HTTP-only session cookies. We retain account-linked library data while the account is active, unless it needs to be kept to prevent fraud, meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time. To request access, correction or deletion of account-linked data, email hello@hooklib.xyz from the address associated with your account.
