Content policy

A library should respect its sources.

We keep references useful for creators while respecting ownership and removal requests.

What belongs in the catalog

HookLib indexes public short-form references and links them back to their source. A reference can be removed when it is unavailable, misleading, unsafe, unlawfully uploaded or unrelated to the library.

Rights and removal requests

If you own rights in a cataloged item, represent a rights holder, or need a reference corrected or removed, email hello@hooklib.xyz with the item URL, a description of the request and a way for us to verify it.

Creator uploads

Only upload or export footage and audio you own or are licensed to use. Do not submit personal data, private recordings, harmful material or content that violates another person's rights.

Miner and source availability

Miner searches public sources. A request is not a guarantee that a source will return usable material, and source availability may change without notice.
